The International Academic Organizations Alliance (IAOA) is pleased to announce its support for the successful convening of the symposium "Frontiers in Aging, Longevity & Rejuvenation," held on April 8, 2026, at the Woolf Institute, Westminster College, University of Cambridge.

The half-day event, running from 13:30 to 18:00, was organized jointly by the European Academy for Nutrition, Dietetics & Behavioral Health and the Luxembourg Academy of Sciences and Arts (LASA). Approximately fifty scholars, researchers, and clinicians participated in the gathering.

Keynote Highlights

The symposium was honored by two distinguished keynote presentations:

Professor May-Britt Moser, 2014 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, Member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, Foreign Member of the Royal Society, and Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, presented on "Development of the brain's spatial map: Nature or Nurture?"

Professor James B. Rowe, Chair of the AstraZeneca Scientific Committee and Director of the Cambridge Centre for Frontotemporal Dementia and Related Disorders, delivered a keynote entitled "Dementia and resilience," exploring current challenges and opportunities in dementia research.

Additional Program

Dr. Georg Tyminski, Chairman of the European Academy for Nutrition, Dietetics & Behavioral Health, delivered opening remarks. A roundtable forum was chaired by Professor Dr. Jiong Wu, Member of LASA. The invited Science & Research Team, Zhen Ao Group, also contributed to the academic discussions.

IAOA was proud to lend its support to this collaborative effort, which brought together leading minds to address critical questions at the intersection of neuroscience, aging, and longevity.
