About the Journal

Global Humanities and Social Sciences (GHSS) is an international academic journal founded by International Academic Organizations Alliance Limited (IAOA) and co-sponsored by the Institute of Chinese Studies, Hanyang University (South Korea). It aims to build a high-end interdisciplinary and cross-border exchange platform for global humanities and social sciences, promote academic innovation and knowledge sharing, and facilitate the development of global humanities and social sciences.

With the core tenet of "breaking disciplinary barriers between humanities and social sciences, connecting global academic resources, and serving human development issues", GHSS is positioned as follows:

From a global perspective, it focuses on interdisciplinary intersections of humanities and social sciences, covering traditional humanities (philosophy, history, literature, and art) and social science frontiers (economics, political science, sociology, and global governance);

Drawing on both co-sponsors’ strengths — IAOA’s international operational capabilities and the Institute of Chinese Studies, Hanyang University (South Korea)’s expertise in Chinese studies — it highlights key areas: "Chinese Studies", "East Asian Regional Cooperation", and "Cross-Cultural Communication", filling a niche in global humanities and social science journals for regional research and transnational cooperation;

Upholding "public-oriented academia and open sharing", it shares high-quality research globally via open access, supports scholars in developing and underdeveloped regions, and advances research to support global sustainable development and cultural mutual learning.
