Scientific Engineering is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering engineering and related applied sciences. It was founded in 2026 and is published quarterly by the International Academic Organizations Alliance (IAOA), Hong Kong SAR, China. The journal’s online ISSN is 3107-1406.
Editorial Scope
The journal provides a platform for research at the interface of scientific knowledge and engineering practice. It publishes work on engineering theories, materials, systems, processes, technologies and applications, with particular interest in interdisciplinary studies, implementation experience, sustainable development and responsible innovation.
The journal is intended for researchers, engineers, technology professionals, educators, research institutions, innovation organisations and public-interest communities seeking technically sound and practically relevant engineering knowledge.
Publishing Model
Scientific Engineering is an online open-access journal. It is published quarterly, and accepted articles may be published online after editorial and production checks and assigned to the current or forthcoming issue. The journal does not guarantee fixed review, acceptance or publication times.
Editorial Independence
IAOA provides publishing infrastructure, administrative coordination and production support. Academic editors retain authority over manuscript assessment and publication decisions. Decisions are based on the journal’s scope, technical and methodological soundness, originality, clarity, ethical compliance and contribution to engineering knowledge or practice.
Institutional cooperation, conference participation, sponsorship, membership, donations, advertising or separately arranged services do not influence editorial decisions and do not guarantee publication. Invited and conference-related manuscripts are subject to the same applicable editorial and review requirements as unsolicited submissions.
