Scientific Engineering

Scientific Engineering aims to advance the responsible exchange of engineering knowledge by connecting scientific understanding with engineering design, technological application and practical implementation.

The journal seeks to:

1. Publish technically and methodologically sound research across engineering and related applied sciences.
2. Support the translation of scientific findings into materials, systems, processes, infrastructure, devices and practical solutions.
3. Encourage interdisciplinary, cross-institutional and international research cooperation.
4. Provide space for engineering case studies, replication work, negative results and context-specific solutions when they offer clear technical learning.
5. Promote engineering approaches that contribute to sustainability, resilience, safety, accessibility and responsible innovation.
6. Improve the visibility of credible engineering work from regions and communities that may be underrepresented in international scholarly communication.

The journal does not select manuscripts solely on predicted citation impact or broad publicity value. All submissions must nevertheless demonstrate a clear contribution, appropriate methods, transparent reporting and relevance to the journal’s scope.
